Southern Pulse once again brings ground
breaking international acts to SA shores by adding eclectic visionaries
C-Mon and Kypski to the already busy line-up of touring acts in 2010,
which includes Australia’s Philadelphia Grand Jury and PHDJ as well as
Holland’s Lucky Fonz.

C-Mon and Kypski are well known as being
‘the hot shit’ in Europe. With 4 originals albums and a host of other
compilations and solo albums under their belt, this four piece
‘electronic-rock’ outfit has been bending genres for many years.

Over
the course of C-Mon & Kypski’s previous albums and the last two
years spent on the road in Europe, North America and South Africa, the
band has evolved from a hip-hop and electronica-led turntablist duo to a
bombastic, four-piece powerhouse of musical talent.

The group is
comprised of enigmatic producer and founding member C-Mon, fellow
founding member and 6-time DMC Dutch DJ champion Kypski, Dutch
Keyboardist of the Year* Jori, and guitar slinging,
multi-instrumentalist, Daniel.

C-Mon & Kypski’s music is a
fresh and unique blend of upbeat, foot-stomping sounds that have wowed
critics across the globe. As Netherland’s leading music magazine, Oor,
said, C-Mon & Kypski is, “Exciting and original, there’s nothing
catchier!”

Their last tour, a musical and visual extravaganza
dubbed, “Circus C-Mon & Kypski” impressed fans and promoters alike
at The Netherlands’ biggest festivals, Pinkpop and Lowlands, and saw the
band execute a triumphant national tour that culminated at the
internationally prestigious North Sea Jazz festival.

The band
also reaped the rewards of two extensive US tours, featuring highly
lauded performances at SXSW, The Roxy in LA, the Fillmore East at Irving
Plaza in NY, Popscene in SF and the Metro in Chicago.
